I was born a creative. I was blessed to be surrounded by people who encouraged me to pursue my passions.  Growing up in South Dakota, the opportunities for art at a young age were limited.  Fortunately, I had teachers who recognized my talent.  They created alternate avenues for me to pursue my artistic endeavors and fostered my love throughout my academic career. These individuals were paramount in the evolution of who I have become.

Creating for the sake of creating.  I love all mediums.  I enjoy capturing the beauty in the mundane, but I also find great joy in layers of intervention and creating intrigue for my viewers. I love noticing.  I love being curious. I love when something seemingly small thrills me.

I am passionate about my craft, but I am just as passionate about helping people find their artistic voices.  Without those before me, who were compassionate and caring, I would not be the artist I am today. My passion is to create. My mission is to foster our future creators.
